Mangalitsa pork is a luscious red, more akin to beef than pork. It's 50-percent fat content gives it a coveted marble and buttery flavor. Mangalitsa's take more than a year to fully develop, and they require outdoor space to roam freely, in order to strengthen their muscles (which further aids marbling). This luscious, buttery fat makes Mangalitsa pork especially versatile in cooking and in the taste!
A wonderfully juicy sausage. a bit like the mexican chorizo, but a "cleaner" spice taste. its not as heavy and has all the right flavors. Spicy but not as much as the name implies. One of my go-to sausages when I want something with a kick (but not too much)
