Mangalitsa pork is a luscious red, more akin to beef than pork. It's 50-percent fat content gives it a coveted marble and buttery flavor. Mangalitsa's take more than a year to fully develop, and they require outdoor space to roam freely, in order to strengthen their muscles (which further aids marbling). This luscious, buttery fat makes Mangalitsa pork especially versatile in cooking and in the taste!
This is my favorite sausage of this season :-) So juicy! perfect for the outdoor grill, or just pan fry it in butter! (or bacon grease) you will not forget this cut of sausage.
